Those clouds are very low-res... but better than nothing.
Personally, I find the $15 a year I pay Xericdesigns well worth it - I really like xplanetFX, but most people probably wouldn't.
The people who know quite a bit about this stuff are Apollo-NG.
They were the ones providing ready-to-use clouds from Dundee.

I have exchanged quite a few emails with them, very friendly and knowledgeable - and they have equipment. Maybe they'll find a way.
